MedviewMD Inc. (MVMD) is a Toronto based privately owned company focusing on the advancement of telemedicine in Canada.

Dan Nead - Founder & CEO
Dan started MedviewMD with a simple mission: to enhance access to and quality of healthcare for all Canadians. Dan recognized emerging trends among younger, more mobile Canadians and identified significant under-served segments of society. With his background in high finance, Dan saw the opportunity to supplement the existing health care system in a cost effective manner through telemedicine. This remains the driving passion that defines the organization. After trading in global cash/derivatives markets for over 25 years, Dan launched Horizon Futures Group where he was responsible for investments as a Commodity Trading Advisor. He later joined YMG Capital Management Inc, a quantitative investment counsel firm with over $13 billion in assets. In 2004, Dan formed OmniScope Advisors Inc., which soon entered into an exclusive arrangement with Zurich based Harcourt Investment Consulting AG, one of Switzerland’s most highly regarded alternative asset managers owned by an affiliate of Vontobel Bank. Omni Scope Advisors and Harcourt were equal partners in Belmont Dynamic GP, a Canadian entity through which Canadian investors obtain global exposure through various investment asset classes.
