Qualifications:

  • Completion of recognized primary care or nurse practitioner program
  • Master of nursing; current extended class certification with College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Sound working knowledge of nursing function, health care and patient care 3-5 years’ experience in clinical work
  • Demonstrated ability to implement independent judgment and to assess complications efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to work well within our inter-professional team fostering effective working relationships
  • Ability to exercise initiative and observe strict confidentiality
  • Proficiency in English; a second language is an asset

  • Current Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Experience includes 2000 working hours. (New grads may apply for the Nursing Assistant position to gain experience and confidence in assessment skills)
  • First Aid and CPR level C
  • Vulnerable sector police check
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Computer literate, familiar with excel/outlook or scheduling software an asset
  • Ability to integrate and apply critical thinking skills to client care
  • Knowledge of proper body mechanics with the successful completion of a safe work practice assessment including mobility and safe management.
  • Ability to speak a second language is an asset

Qualifications:

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized college
  • Current Registration with PSNO
  • Experience includes 1000 working hours.
  • First Aid and CPR level C
  • Vulnerable sector police check
  • Good communication and documentation skills
